Karen Kasmauski is a photographer, project manager and educator. Her company, Little Black Dog Productions, creates communication strategies and media on global health and global change issues. Karen’s current project, a worldwide look at nursing issues, will be published in May 2008. Karen has photographed 25 major stories for National Geographic Magazine. Most were based on ideas she originated and developed. Karen writes a column for Nikon World Magazine and creates online features for AARP. An instructor at photo workshops and universities, Karen is also a requested speaker on global health issues for industry and government organizations.
